And of course, the list is heavily weighted toward the recordings done earlier in 2005, rather than later. Obviously the longer the recording was available, the more downloads there were likely to be.

We are kicking around the possibility of publishing a monthly Top Ten list, too, which could be interesting.

1. Dear Anita:

   I enjoy the radio show and appreciate the list–but *NOT* being forced to listen to automatic streaming audio just by going to your blog. At least most sites which start playing audio when you land on the page give readers the option to pause or stop the player if they don’t want to listen to it.

   Now would be a really good time to fix this.
