Top Ten Most Requested Small Biz Audio

EntrepreneursJanuary 14, 2006By

Everyone is doing “Top Ten” lists right about now, so Steve and I thought you might be interested to see our Top Ten list.

Here is the Top Ten Most Requested Downloads of small business audio here at SMB TrendWire for 2005 (in no particular order):

Your Best and Highest Use – Andy Birol (site: AndyBirol.com)

CEO Talks – Warren Carter, CEO (site: MyOnlyOne.com)

Building Small Businesses that Learn, Lead and Last – Gary Harpst, CEO (Six Disciplines blog: Be Excellent)

Selling to Big Companies – It Can Be Done – Jill Konrath, CEO (blog: Selling to Big Companies)

Stage a Business Coup – Barry Moltz, Author (blog: Barry’s Blog)

The Well Utilized Business Lawyer – Anthony Cerminaro, Attorney (blog: Bizz Bang Buzz)

14 Ways to a Successful Company – Ron Finklestein (blog: Your Business Coach)

Creating Customer Evangelists – Author Jackie Huba (blog: Church of the Customer)

IT Security: You Have to Take it Seriously – Michael Dees, CEO (site: eSecurity-Direct.com )

Entrepreneurial Terror: How to Get Through the Dark Days and Into the Light - Ruth King, CEO (site: BusinessTVChannel.com)

There were several others who came close and just barely missed making the list. Go here for the full list of small business audio podcasts.

And of course, the list is heavily weighted toward the recordings done earlier in 2005, rather than later. Obviously the longer the recording was available, the more downloads there were likely to be.

We are kicking around the possibility of publishing a monthly Top Ten list, too, which could be interesting.
Stay tuned.

    Dear Anita:

I enjoy the radio show and appreciate the list–but *NOT* being forced to listen to automatic streaming audio just by going to your blog. At least most sites which start playing audio when you land on the page give readers the option to pause or stop the player if they don’t want to listen to it.

Now would be a really good time to fix this.

    Sallie,

    Thanks for your comment.

Some people like the automatic start audio. They appreciate knowing immediately that this is a site designed specifically for distributing audio.

    Best,
    Anita
