I thought the Everyzing box would be enough so people can search the audio by keywords and get a search page with all of the podcasts where their keyword was mentioned.  Then click on the word to go directly to that portion of the podcast to listen to the topic. 

However, the issue you raise is fundamental to our customer driven society which is people learn and want information differently.  Some are visual learners, some audio, others want learn by doing or experiencing.  So a category side bar is a great idea.
