Back By Popular Demand: Start A Business Broke
In 1987, Gary Schoeniger found himself down on his luck. He was dead broke and deep in debt and he didn’t know what he was going to do. But there was one thing he did know – that he was out of options.
So he got into a 1972 Dodge and strapped a borrowed ladder to the roof and went house to house offering to clean gutters. Gary now owns and operates a multi-state, multimillion dollar construction management firm and is the author of a book titled, “Starting from Scratch – How to Start a Business When You Don’t Have Money.”
His show has been so popular that we are proud to announce that we have transcribed it for you. If you’d rather listen – no problem. You can do that, too, by visiting Gary’s interview titled, “How to Start a Business With No Money” where you can read the transcript of the show, download the audio for later listening on your iPod or mp3 player or download a PDF copy of the transcript.

Gary’s story is very inspiring. These kind of stories do really help small business owners to thrive more and stand up from their failures.

You need a whole lot of drive to start from nothing. Online service industries tend to do well with nothing, but anything with physical goods would be rough.
