MagicJack is also a good Voip device that lets you plug into your regular telephone to your PC without a landline, although its capabilities are less than the PBX it is very simplified.

If you have a smart phone with a SIP softphone, you should be able to use it with Jive.

I think that VoIP is the way of the future. We used it at our meeting place as our only telephone source, including a switchboard feature and wireless local area network integrated in our computer system. We didn’t have a regular landline so to speak.

Could use a mobile phone making calls through Jive VoIP?
