Dan Hoffman, President and CEO of M5 Networks is the guest of Host Anita Campbell in this episode of Small Business Trends Radio. They discuss VOIP in simple and understandable terms. VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) is well past the early adopter stage and has the potential to be a clear competitive differentiator for today’s small business.
You have probably heard of other services by now that are nationally advertised with a lot of buzz. So how do you decide when, how and with whom to even evaluate the opportunity that VOIP might provide? This question and many more are answered in this informative conversation.
- How can using VOIP technology be a competitive advantage for you?
- VOIP, exactly what does that mean?
- How big do you have to be to benefit from it?
- What is the difference between Vonage and a Managed Network? (hint: quality of the connection)
- What are the key features and benefits that a small business should consider?
- What does this all cost and how do I get started?
Actually the very first few Small Business Trends Radio recordings were done using VOIP technology. It has some very cool capabilities and may offer some significant cost savings over your current phone infrastructure.
Additional highlights of this show include the Today’s Trend segment, “How the Internet and Technology are Revolutionizing Communication.”
